Individualized in-center care

Beyond Behavior offers personalized in-center programs for children aged 2 to 22, tailored to meet each child’s unique needs. We assign a team of Registered Behavior Technicians to work closely with every family we serve. Utilizing the scientific principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we assess and analyze each individual’s behaviors and abilities. These assessments help us identify effective strategies to teach new skills and enhance positive behaviors. Through ABA, we can foster improvements in communication, social skills, independence, and other essential areas of development.

FAQ's

What approach does Beyond take for in-center care? Beyond uses a variety of techniques based on ABA. These include Discrete Trial Training, Natural Environment Teaching, Relational Frame Theory, and other areas of ABA. Most of the clients we serve receive an assessment through VB-MAPP, PEAK, or ABLLS-R, and then the specifics of their program will be chosen based on the results of those assessments and consultations with the family and individual.

How does insurance work for ABA? Typically, Beyond will assess your insurance benefits and, upon approval, submit a request for prior authorization for services. Most insurance plans require pre-approval for both the assessment and ongoing services. Our team will collaborate with you to clarify your family's out-of-pocket costs and establish a timeline for your insurance approvals.

My insurance doesn't cover ABA; what can I do? Unfortunately, the Ohio Autism Insurance Coalition reports that only about half of Ohio's population has coverage through their insurance or early intervention programs. If your family lacks ABA benefits, your child may still qualify for the Ohio Autism Scholarship, which provides access to in-center ABA services for those whose Individualized Education Program (IEP) falls under the Autism category. Or those who fall under the disability category of Developmental Delay.
